Decomissioning of Hexagon

All dates below are tentatives and further plan changes might come up, but will be communicated on syslog.hpc.uib.no and also updated here.
CPU quotas
- All local CPU quotas ceased on 01.04.2017.
- Local CPU quotas will be re-enabled on 01.07.2017.
- Between 01.07.2017 and 31.08.2017, Hexagon will operate with both national, local and IMR CPU accounts.
- On 01.09.2017 all CPU jobs will be stopped and machine reserved for reconfiguration.
Data
- User's home areas will be transferred to NIRD by the Support Staff after the machine is locked for users.
- Data laying on /work and /work-common must be moved by the user itself. All unused data should be moved out from Hexagon as soon as possible. Please plan this well in advance so that we avoid file system and network overloading.
